The lock-in set provides 3 different demodulation types:
- Sine – standard lock-in application
- Square wave – alternating polarity measurements (DC measurement with offset compensation)
- Boxcar – gated integration
The demodulation is based on the selected Frequency and its harmonic, as well as a phase shift and duty cycle.
In the case of the boxcar average, the position and with of the integration window is defined using the phase shift and duty cycle. The in-phase (X) readings contain the part inside the window, the out-of-phase (Y) readings the average value outside the window.
